The Republican Party may be doomed come this election, perhaps even if McCain get's elected. As he is seen as a dem in sheep's clothing, something of appeaser. And although he has some strong points of views on legislative g corruption by lobbyists. he is still seen as liberal republican. It may be that the republican party passed on with W.F. Buckley, and that the slide toward socialism here is inevitable, in part because the philosophical platform for conservatism is removed with Buckley's passing. Buckley who defined his role in the Regan administration as "ventriloquist."

Who could fill his shoes, save for conservative talk show hosts on radio - who, incidentally are relegated to radio, because the liberalplatform is TV...there is no more " Firing Line ." with Buckley's passing,

But it may be irrelevant to this election because Obama moves ahead in the polls, apparently out performing Sarah Palin in the charisma department. Obama is a nice fellow, but he is simply deluded politically, and philosophically as I am sure Buckley would point out.
It may be his election is inevitable.

The doo is about to hit the fan with these elections as I think Obama will win. He's Jimmy Carter...and so, it will be one giant leap toward socialism

Socialsists cause the problems the appear to be solutions to...such as with illegal immigration, and such, welfare, social programs,. (It may even be possible they contribute to the problems in the housing crunch.. vis a vie, fannie mae. ) But they always blame problems on the republicans..as they blamed Bush for the 2001 .com crash, 2 months after Bush was confirmed.

Not that the right isnt complicit (cheap labor) in immigration, but nothing will be done about immigration if Obama  does win. He was in a group that threatened corporations, using ethnic blacklisting as a weapon, Al Sharpton does it, and so does Jesse Jackson, the idea is blackmail,

The corporations are forced to send money to community development, or face boycott, not too surprising too much goes in Jackson's pocket. Obama is a nice guy, Jimmy Carter was too, but they are wrong in their polical philosophy, as it could not be adapted here, that was proved 1976-1980..

Obama will win by the "mocha vote" (IMO) is added to his base (poor, black, Hispanic , unions, teachers union, women, illegals, gays, prisoners, and die hard democrats.  for  whom voting dem is a pavlovian conditioned response). The Mocha Vote  tips the scales we can visualize the Mocha voters now enchanted by Obama charisma,  -...."the pseudo intellectual Harvard grad, bohemians "lets go to Harvard square" vote that uses reasoning as simple as this: 'oh McCain flew an airplane with bombs on them, ooo gooey.... I think Ill have the Mocha!"

Obama will win on the "Mocha vote" IMO.

The “mocha vote” was a termed coined by Jay Sevren, credit where credit due – but in this process, really, intelligence and responsibility applied to the voting booth, we do not see Of GodAnd Man at Yale, do we?

MY prediction came true...obviously. The country should be credited for electing a black president, for sure. But, I believe they elected the wrong black president, for the wrong reasons, as Obama is one of the most liberal senators. And, his disregard for consitional law, is mind boggling. A second stimulous package is being proposed, but if it is as "green:" as the last one, it will not work. And the national dept
will reach unheard of levels.
I am no longer working in nursing for a variety of reasons, and that will be the subject of an article here. But to make some use of my education, I will be writing health articles for the hub. I also have a medical lab degree, so the articles will be informative. I have just started doing this..and so, there are lower scores, apparently if I include articles from here, the scores stay low, but they have been rising. I will include some other topics there as well, meanwhile, please vote for these articles if you find them useful, general commentary articles, and my creativity will, as a rule, be focused here, at toylanders.
Commentary:
I am  writing some medical commentary at the hubpages . General essays are from the two menus below .
